We chase what main contractors owe you, on the dates in your subcontract: applications, final dates for payment and retention release. CIS and retentions built into your forecast. One fixed monthly price.
Get a free cash check →No contract. Cancel any month. Works with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or your spreadsheets.
Fixed prices. No hourly rates, no surprises. Everything is done by email, so you never have to sit in a meeting.
"Contractors" means the main contractors you have open invoices, applications or retentions with in a month. Need more? Move up a plan, or add 5 more for £50/month.
We're not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. If that changes, we'll give you at least 30 days' written notice before any VAT is added.
Just need a one-off 13-week forecast for your bank or a tender? £450, delivered in 5 working days. Start a monthly plan within 30 days and your first month is free. Ask for one.
Cheaper than hiring. Construction credit controller jobs are advertised at around £27,000–£35,000 a year before employer costs (recent Hays and Workman LLP adverts). Chaser is £195 a month, with no minimum term. And the free cash check shows you what's overdue and at risk before you spend a penny.
Subcontractors lose money in the gaps: an application that goes in a day late, a payment notice that never comes, a final date for payment that slips past, retention nobody chases.
Send us your subcontract orders, or just the payment and retention dates. We record every application date, payment date and retention release.
So nothing goes in late and nothing gets pushed into next month's valuation.
Under your company name, from the day after the final date for payment. Polite, firm, factual.
At practical completion and again at the end of the defects period, so it doesn't sit forgotten.
We track dates and chase payment. We don't prepare or send payment notices or pay less notices for you, and nothing we do is legal advice.
An AI receptionist helps you win work. It won't fix a cash problem that starts after the work is done.
Set up in under a week. About 20 minutes of your time, once. After that there's nothing to send us.
Email your aged debtors report (two minutes, guide included). Within one working day we tell you, free, what's overdue and the three invoices we'd chase first.
Connect Xero or QuickBooks in about a minute. We only ever read it and never change anything. On other software? A two-minute export on Fridays instead.
Forward your subcontract orders. We read them and send back each contractor's payment and retention dates to confirm. Then approve the chase emails we'll send in your company's name.
What we chased, what came in, who's next and what's coming up: applications, final dates for payment and retention releases. The next chases go out unless you reply “hold”. Forecast plans add the 13-week view.
A template reminder with no follow-up is easy for an accounts team to park. We send personal, escalating chases on the dates in your subcontract, plus monthly statements, under your name. That's the difference between a reminder and credit control.
No. Chasing is done politely and professionally, under your company name, using proven wording. You approve the wording first, and we never chase anything you flag as disputed or sensitive.
We're a cash flow and credit control service, not your accountant, and we don't do your tax. We work alongside your accountant — they'll thank us for tidying your debtors.
Yes. You connect through Xero's or QuickBooks' own sign-in, so we never see your password. We only ever read your invoices, payments, customers and bank balance, and we never create, change or delete anything. You can disconnect at any time. Xero gives us read-only access; QuickBooks only offers one level of access, so our terms commit us to reading only.
Fine. Send us what you have — even a photo of your invoice book. We'll build the tracker for you as part of setup.
No calls needed, ever. Everything runs by email. Most of our clients prefer it that way — you're on site, not at a desk.
No. It's monthly rolling and you can cancel any month in writing. If we're not getting you paid, we don't deserve your money.
Ideally, yes. Payment and retention terms usually differ by contractor and sometimes by job, so we ask for each subcontract order (or just its payment and retention dates) when you start, and for new ones as you win work. No written terms with a contractor? Tell us and we'll note it.
No. We track the dates and remind you before they come round, then chase payment on the right day. For notices or legal questions, speak to your QS or a solicitor.
Each plan includes a number of active contractors a month: 10 on Chaser, 20 on Chaser + Forecast and 30 on Full Books. If you go over two months running we'll tell you, and you can move up a plan or add a small top-up. We never stop chasing without telling you.
No. We're not VAT registered. If that changes, you'll get at least 30 days' written notice before any VAT is added.
Email your aged debtors report (or just your invoice list) and we'll reply within one working day with what's overdue, what's at risk, and what we'd chase first.
